Donald Walter Stafsholt, 92, of Eau Claire, died at Dove Healthcare Sunday morning.

Donald was born in Glenwood City, WI, June 28, 1916 to Tollef and Ellen Stafsholt. Donald graduated from Glenwood City High School and attended one year of college before joining the Navy. He also worked on the Alcan Highway and retired from Uniroyal Tire Company in 1981. |
Donald married Eleanor Kinseth on June 22, 1940.
Donald is survived by his daughter Veronica (John) Card of Fairchild; Sons Duane (SherriLee) of Eau Claire; William (Carole Taylor) of Clipper Mills, CA.; Lawrence (Judith) of Chetek. 10 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grand-Children.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Eleanor; Brothers Theodore, Martin, Edwin, Norman, and Sister Alma (Peter) Dado, and Grandson Todd.
Visitation for Donald will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday
August 6, 2008 at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph
Rd. Eau Claire, 54701. Private family burial will take place
Thursday August 7, 2008 at Lakeview Cemetery. |
