He said there was no help like help from the ma! :0) Another thing he adored was that beautiful chess set his mother made him i think for Christmas or something. It was such a shock to hear of Nick's sudden passing. We are friends of Nick's and being our age, you just take every day for granted. Every day life becomes mundane, and it isn't until something like this happens that you get a slap in the face and remember to fully appreciate every moment with family and friends, drinking coffee on the way to work, taking a shower after a long day. You never know when it's your last time driving the same road or walking in your door. Things like this aren't supposed to happen to people like Nick. We am dumbfounded and deeply saddened. Nick(Starky) was such a wonderful friend to me, he was always so caring and loving. I tried to spend as much time with him as I could after he broke his ankle, and we shared some really good times.
