Dale traveled overseas 17 times to visit his numerous friends and "adopted" daughter Britt. He hunted and fished in every state except Hawaii. He enjoyed spending time with his family hunting, fishing, camping; tending his 1-1/2 acre garden and cutting campfire wood in Birchwood, Wisconsin. One of his greatest joys was giving his vegetables to friends, family and the Blue Hills Supper Club. His winter pastime was making puzzles for his family and friends. He was the life of the party and danced every dance. At granddaughters weddings he danced with his "farmer's tuxedo" (bib overalls) on. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and always had a story to tell. |
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna, of Eau Claire; his three children Annette Bullard of Altoona, Marquita (Richard) Stowell of Bloomer and Michael (Jackie) Talmage of Eau Claire; "adopted" daughter Britt
(Kjell) Cramer, Sweden; brother Richard (Irene) Talmage of
Menomonie; grand-children Sheila (Dave) Beauchamp, James
Grassnickle, Lori (Kelly) Westaby, Robin (Mark) Hicks, Todd (Lisa)

Gast, Melanie (Jeff) Meinen, David Talmage and Teri Talmage, 26 great-grand children, two great-great grand daughters, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward
Talmage, in-laws Elijah and Evelyn (Snyder) Hudson, son-in-law Russell Bullard, grandsons Michael
Talmage, Jr. and Loran (Stoik) Stowell.
