Today I was asked to share some thoughts about my Grandpa,Dale Talmage. When I was first asked my thoughts went into over load. Wow, There is so much that I can tell about my Grandpa, Where do I start. My question to myself to start was what does Grandpa mean to me.? Respect, Love, Family, a Gentleman, Honesty and Hard Work. Are the things that first came to mind, then I started thinking deeper, I thought he was so much more a Provider, Story teller, Wise, Stubborn, Proud and best of all My Friend. Everyone that knows my Grandpa knows he was a hard worker, But he also took time to sit and talk with me and tell me stories of his past and of his future wishes. My Grandpa was a tough man, But not to tough that at times I could see a tear in his eyes, when something touched his heart. Not "ONE" moment I spent with MY GRANDPA impacted my life, But EVERY moment I shared with him is a BIG impact in my life..

Donnie, PeeWee, Snook and Mike, I will always remember that special year on the farm with all of you. Dale taught me so much! From plowing to harvesting, taking care of animals and all of the laughs that made the chores fun. And of course enjoying Walter's Beer at the end of the day.
