Mary Jo Taylor, age 59, of Eau Claire died peacefully at her home on
Thursday, August 14, 2008 surrounded by her family.
Mary Jo was born October 17, 1948 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gilbert and Arlene (Jordan)
Strassman. Mary Jo graduated from North High School. On May 8, 1982 she married Ray Taylor at Camp Douglas.
Mary Jo worked 25 years at Uniroyal, seven years at Silver Springs and seven years at Phillips Plastics.
She had a love for many things including flowers, birdhouses, bowling, laying out in the sun, and shopping. |

She is survived by her husband, Ray; daughter, Jolenne (William) Girard; sons, Mark (Kristina) Taylor; Terry Taylor; Rick Taylor; daughter, Joy Baranowski; Grandchildren, Teddi Taylor, Jordan Girard, Blaine Girard, Amy Baranowski, Blake Taylor, Marissa Taylor; brother, Steve (Jeanne) Strassman; nieces and nephews Jeff, Becky, Pam, and Trevor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gilbert "Buzz" Strassman and sister Kay Strand.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
