David A. Urness, 64, of Eau Claire died Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
David was born June 30, 1944 to Alvin and Ethel Urness of Mondovi. He grew up on the family farm. On June 1, 1996 he married Lori Johnson. They later divorced. On December 13, 1994 their only child, Chloe, was born. Chloe has been David's pride and joy over the years.
David also loved to cook and entertain whenever possible.
He is survived by his daughter Chloe; sister Helen Larson; several nieces and nephews. |

He was preceded in death by both parents, brother-in-law Edgar Larson and niece Karen Larson.
Funeral services for David will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 19, 2008 at Peace Lutheran Church, 501 E. Fillmore St. in Eau Claire. Pastor Mark
Schulz will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of services. Burial will be in the Riverside Lutheran Cemetery, Mondovi, WI at a later date.
