Dear Friends and Family in Christ, I was selfishly saddened to hear that one of our brothers in Christ and minister to many of us had passed to a BETTER place. We will miss him for who he was to us. I remember Chet as he ministered to so many at St. John's and as he ministered to me. Chet saw the lighter side of life and brought the rest of us to take life to the lighter side. My ministry and my sermons reflected his ministry to me. He leaves a huge vacancy at St. John's, but also, he leaves a gigantic legacy of faith in Christ and humanity. I wish I could be there in person to share how much Chet meant to me, but I will not be returning to Eau Claire to live until All Saints' Day, 1 November. Please know that I will be with you in spirit to help strengthen you in your time of sorrow. God's richest blessings to you as you share fond memories of one of our great Saints in the faith.
