Timothy P. Wolter, D.C., age 59, died January 22, 2008, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. Tim was born to Harvey and Harriet
(Priebe) Wolter on May 3, 1948, in Milwaukee.

He graduated from Eagle River Union High School in 1966, served two years in the U.S. Army, received a bachelor's degree from UW-Eau Claire in 1973, and was a 1976 graduate of the Palmer College of Chiropractic.
|
Tim's passion for healing and helping people through chiropractic began in Eau Claire in 1976 when he opened Wolter Chiropractic. Always quick with a joke and a smile, Tim was a kind, generous, and compassionate man. He enjoyed fly fishing, had a love of history, was a proud member of St. John's Lutheran Church, and spent many wonderful hours relaxing with family and friends at his cabin.

Tim is survived by his wife, Vicki; sons, Chad (Jody) Wagner, Chippewa Falls, and Dustin Wagner, Bloomer; grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, and Carter Wagner; sister, Carol (Don) Hiller; brother, Charles Wolter; nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and countless friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Harriet Wolter; and a brother, William.
Services for Tim will be Friday, January 25, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1804 Highland Avenue, Eau Claire, Wisconsin with Reverend Karen Hofstad officiating. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, January 24, 2008, at St. John's from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.
