My sister-in-law Sally Hanvelt sent me Madeline's obituary. I just wanted to write and tell you how much Madeline meant to my mother Myrtle Hanvelt. They both lived at Golden Acres in Altoona for several years, and were good friends. They loved playing yatzee together! I met Madeline a couple times when we were there to visit mom. She passed away at 78. They were both born in 1912. I'm so glad mom had a good friend to share her life with in later years.
