Treva J. Barber BaDour, age 69 of Eau Claire, passed away on March 16, 2009. Treva was born on September 7. 1939, to the late Mathew and Esta (Gearlds) Barber in Frankfort, Indiana. She grew-up in Frankfort and graduated with the Frankfort High School Class of 1957.
 

   Treva moved to Eau Claire in 1961. She attended the Chippewa Valley Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She was employed as the business manager for Radiologists, Ltd., for 23 years and the DeCesare Orthopedic Clinic for ten years before retiring in 1999.
 
Treva J. Barber married Gerald (Jerry) J. BaDour on May 14, 1983, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Eau Claire and embraced his seven beautiful children as her own. She treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. Mrs. BaDour loved visiting with family members especially her grandchildren, particularly, brought her great joy through the years.
   

Treva and Jerry spent several happy winters in Lake Havasu City, AZ, prior to his death in May 2003. Mrs. BaDour also enjoyed traveling in the United States and Europe, reading, playing cards, and going on casino "runs" with family and friends. During her retirement she was a volunteer for several community organizations and the Newman Ecumenical Center.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband; by one stepson, Steven; her parents; four sisters; two nieces; and two nephews.
 
Survivors include five stepsons: Jeff (Sally), Mike (MaryAnne), Pat (Theresa), Greg, Brad (Tina), and one stepdaughter, Diana BaDour. She was the proud grandmother of Amy (Jason) May, Shari (Andrew) Olson, and Taylor, Dana, Dustin, Nicole, Katelyn, Sara, Jesse, Peiter, and Devon BaDour. She was also the great-grandmother of three delightful little boys: Elijah, Anthony-Joseph, and Noah May. Treva is further survived by her sister, Pat LaHmon; two brothers, William (Jody) and Mat (Doris) Barber; on sister-in-law, Joanne (Robert) Poppe; four brothers-in-laws; James (Arlene) BaDour, Tom (Doreen) BaDour, John (Chris) BaDour, and William (Miranda) Bratton; plus several special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
 
Mrs. BaDour greatly appreciated the compassionate care she received from Dr. David Schifeling, Dr. David Cavanaugh, the staff at the Marshfield Cancer Center, and St. Joseph's Hospice Services.
 
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the Roman Catholic Newman Center in the Ecumenical Religious Center, 110 Garfield, Eau Claire on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Pastor George Szews will officiate. Friends may call at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, on Friday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. and again at church one-half hour prior to service. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the White Pine Wildlife Rehab Center, S3091 Oak Knoll Road, Fall Creek, WI 54742; to St. Joseph's Hospital Home and Health & Hospice, 2662 County Highway I, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729; or to the donor's choice.
