   Florence R. Clickner, 86, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 surrounded by her family.
 
Florence was born March 17, 1923 in Menomonie, Wisconsin to Emma Maves Markham and Earl Markham. Florence married Merlin Clickner on September 26, 1944. 
 
While raising their family they lived in Menomonie, Ohio, and Downsville. They later moved to Eau Claire where Florence was employed for over 28 years at Presto Industries in the Export Department. After retiring from Presto, she was employed at the University of Wisconsin-Speech Communications Disorders. She worked there until she was 80 years old.
 
Florence's favorite past time was reading. She also belonged to a card club and every morning she worked crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed her computer.
   

She was secretary/treasurer of American Retarded Citizens, treasurer on the Career Development Center board, and volunteered at the Chippewa Valley Museum.
 
Florence is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merlin; daughter, Patricia Schuster; grandson, Jon Irwin and granddaughter, Janet Schuster.
 
She is survived by four children, Mary Irwin, Roy Clickner, Nicholas Clickner, and Ruth Jenkins,. Florence was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grand children.
 
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Cornerstone Apostolic Church in Elk Mound with Florence's son, Roy Clickner officiating. Friends may call at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, Friday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. and again at church one hour prior to service.
 
Memorials may be designated to the Cornerstone Apostolic Church in Elk Mound.
