Jane Mahoney Donnellan, 79, of Eau Claire died at home surrounded by her family on Friday, April 10, 2009.
 

   Jane was born on January 6, 1930, in Superior, Wisconsin to Edward and June Mahoney. She graduated from Superior High School where she excelled in forensics and debate. Many memories were made spending summers at the cabin her grandfather built on Big Sandy Lake.
 
She attended University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where she majored in Elementary Education.
 
On June 10, 1950 she was united in marriage to David S. Donnellan at St. Patrick’s Church by Bishop John Paul. They have been long time members at Immaculate Conception Parish where Jane was parish council president and a member of the Immaculata Society. She was a member of Service League and PEO Chapter CH. She enjoyed golf and was an avid bridge player.
   

Jane is survived by her loving husband, David, her children, Kathleen (Stephen) Sirianni of Mercer Island, WA; Monica Donnellan; Daniel (Mary) Donnellan; Ned (Lisa) Donnellan; Sarah (Jeffrey Hart) Donnellan, all of Eau Claire, WI and Jane E. Donnellan of Santa Barbara, CA. She is also survived by 13 beloved grandchildren: Andrew, Charles (Erin), and Kathleen Sirianni; David (Tina), Fritz, Elizabeth Wesner, Katherine, Annie and Jimmy Donnellan; Megan and David Donnellan; and Michael and Monica Hart. Jane is also survived by 3 great-grandsons: Baird Sirianni; and Anthony and Jackson Wesner. Jane will be missed by her sisters and brothers; Kathleen Jackson of Grand Forks, ND, Rosemary (Joel) Bement of Lake Eau Claire, Edward (Betty) Mahoney of Vancouver, WA, Richard (Donna) Mahoney of Studio City, CA, and many nieces and nephews.
 
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Mahoney, son Michael, and daughter Loretta.
 
Jane will be remembered for many things including her love of family, joy of life and her ability to bring sunshine and light into each day.
 
Visitation will be at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home on Easter Sunday, April 12 from 5:00pm-7:00pm with prayer beginning at 7:00pm. In addition, there will be visitation at Immaculate Conception Church on Monday, April 13 from 9:30-10:30am. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30am with interment at Forest Hill Cemetery.
 
Memorials may be directed to Immaculate Conception Elementary School, Luther Hospital and PEO Chapter CH.
