Luann was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School Superintendent. She enjoyed getting involved in her children's activities. Luann was a Scout leader in Brillion for many years. Luann and Gregg retired to Haugen, WI for the past six years.

Luann's greatest joy in life was adoring and caring for her family. Her gifts were endless as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

Luann is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gregg, who was a devoted and unselfish caregiver through her many illnesses. She is also survived by her parents, Owen and Joyce Mattison of Eau Claire, WI and Mesa, AZ, a brother David (Pam) Mattison of River Falls, WI, a sister Nancy (Michael) Jones of Mesa, AZ, her two children, Josh (Jennifer) Grudem of Avondale, AZ, Missy (Berny) Kruse of Surprise, AZ, and the two best grandsons and newest loves of her life, Jarod Grudem and Carson Kruse.

Luann thoroughly enjoyed her life; she was strong and courageous in dealing with Diabetes, dialysis, kidney and pancreas transplants, among many other health complications. Her kindness and generous spirit has led her to give one last gift, the ultimate gift of life through organ donation.
