James B. Ische, age 67 of Eau Claire, passed into Eternal Life on March 17, 2009 from cancer. Jim was born on November 20, 1941 to Alice (nee Burg) and Burtel Ische of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. He was raised in Menomonee Falls and moved to Eau Claire in 1968. In 1976 Jim founded Oak Ridge Chemical Corporation.
 

   Jim is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne; loving sons, Mike and Maxine (Dekan) Ische, and Tim and Tammy (Severson) Ische; grandchildren, Aaron, Alex, Jenna, and Connor Ische. Jim is also survived by his mother, Alice; brother, Thomas; sisters, Ellen Mier, Alice Bryant, and Janice Hilgendorf; sister-in-law, Bobi Pedretty, and many nieces and nephews. Jim is preceded in death by his father, Burtel Ische. 
 
Jim was lovingly cared for by Suzy and his treasured family after his cancer diagnosis. Jim loved traveling, fishing, the outdoors, and life, but most of all Jim loved his family. He was also a member of the "River Rats Inc." for many years.
   

Suzy and Jim's family would like to thank the physicians and nursing staff of The Cancer Center and Sacred Heart Hospital, friends and neighbors for their tender care toward Jim.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Sacred Heart Hospital Chapel, with Monsignor Edmund Klimek officiating. Friends may call at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m..
