Beatrice “Miney” Campbell Lee, age 98, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in the town of Seymour where she resided for the past three and a half years.
 

   She was born on September 25, 1910, the only child of Fred and Pearl (Decker) Sauer in Augusta, WI.
 
She married Raymond Campbell on November 22, 1930 in Stillwater, MN. They were blessed with two children, Jane and Jerry. They made their home in the Eau Claire/Altoona area. For years, they owned and operated the Golden Spike in Altoona. Raymond passed away in 1979. In 1996, Beatrice married Andrew Lee at Ascension Lutheran Church in the town of Seymour. They shared a wonderful 10 years together, traveling coast to coast. When Andy passed away in 2006, Beatrice went to live with her daughter and son-in-law on the family farm where she resided until her death.
   

She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Harry “Buck”) Moss; her daughter-in-law, Marlene Campbell; her grandchildren, Bill (Tamy) Moss, Becky (Jim) Gruen, Linda (Dennis) Zich, Debbie (Roger) Jackson, Bonnie (Mike) Nyseth, Dave (Ruth Oliphant) Moss, Jerry (Wendy) Campbell, Mike (Ruth) Campbell, Julie (Paul) Pedersen, Gary Campbell; granddaughter-in-law, Kim (Nubs) Kohlhepp, 24 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren. 
 
Beatrice is preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Campbell and Andy Lee; her son, Jerry Campbell; her grandson, Don Moss; and her granddaughter, Vicki Campbell. 
 
She was loved and adored by her family and friends. Her 98 years of life provided many entertaining stories that she loved to share. She will be greatly missed. 
 
The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to Dr. Obaid; Mary Lee, Mary Jo, and Kay of St. Joseph’s Hospice staff; Pastor Otto Trebelhorn and Pastor Paul Sullivan; and her beautician and friend, Marlene Goodenough. 
 
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Monday June 1, 2009 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1500 Peterson Avenue, Eau Claire, WI. Pastor Paul Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington immediately following the services. Friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 9 am until the time of services. Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI is assisting the family with the arrangements.
