Jacqueline B. Zank, age 83, of Eau Claire, died
Thursday evening at Syverson Lutheran Nursing Home under the care
of Northwest Wisconsin Homecare and Hospice.
Jacqueline was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on February 3, 1926,
the daughter of Herman and Mae (Evans) Foss. She married Marvin
Zank on July 24, 1946, and remained married until his death in
1997.
She was employed as a telephone operator for over 30 years,
retiring in 1989.
Jacqueline is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, her
parents, and her sisters; Jean Rudd, Beatrice Yanke, and Leone
Leipnitz.
Jacqueline is survived by her son, James (Barbara) Marshall-Zank of Southport, NC; nieces and nephews; many friends. |

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 601 Fall Street, Eau Claire, with Reverend Carlton Kangas officiating. Friends may visit at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial well be at North Side Lutheran Cemetery, Eau Claire.
