Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday February 28, 2009 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI. Pastor Mark Schulz of Peace Lutheran Church will officiate. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 4-7 pm and again on Saturday from 10 am until the time of services. Committal services will be at 10 am on Friday March 6, 2009 at the Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #53.
Harold was born December 11, 1915 to Herman and Maude (Aumann) Zillmer in Fairchild, Wisconsin.
He served his country in the United States Army during World War II in the Marshall Islands.

| Harold enjoyed watching wrestling and baseball, especially the Brewers. He also enjoyed playing solitaire, and trips to Dairy Queen. He took great pride in his vehicles and he loved watching Indy Car Racing. In his younger years he treasured spending time with his brothers. He especially cherished time visiting with his children and grandchildren. |

Survivors include his children James Zillmer, Charlene (John) Haug, Laurie Thoms, Kris Gregory, Scott Zillmer, Ann (Monty) Kuechenmeister, and Tammy (Norm) Kleist, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sister Alice (Herb) Doud and brothers Earl "Jake" (Beatrice) and Gail (June) Zillmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother of his children Bonnie and numerous brothers and sisters.
