Norman O. Amundson, age 86 of Eau Claire formerly of Elk Mound passed away early Thursday morning January 28, 2010 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

Funeral Services will be at 4 pm on Saturday January 30, 2010 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 2 pm until the time of services. Committal Services will take place at 1 pm on Monday February 1, 2010 in the
Christian Reformed Church Cemetery in Pease, Minnesota.
Norman was a kind and gentle man who was loved by many. Norman was
born on May 5, 1923 to Oscar and Blanche (Wagnild) Amundson in the
Township of Spring Brook, Dunn County, Wisconsin. He married
Sylvia Hoffies on April 17, 1954. He is survived by wife Sylvia (Hoffies)
Amundson, daughter Mariann Amundson, son John Amundson, sisters
Elaine Loechler and Idella Bruness, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Sylvia Sneen, and parents
Oscar and Blanche Amundson. |
