Howard Leo Bailey went home to be with his heavenly Father on May 18, 2010 after prolonged illness. 
 

   He was born in Detroit, MI on August 4, 1930 to Clara Bell MacDonald. He graduated from High School in Bad Ave, MI and went to Central Bible College in Springfield, MO where he met Grace Bruch. They married on August 25, 1951. Howard gave much of his life to pastoring churches in WI, MI & CT, as well as ministering as an evangelist. The family traveled as a string quartet for several years ministering throughout the United States. Howard is well remembered for his creativity, his vision, his many talents to make those visions come to life, and for being a man of prayer. In recent years, following retirement, he built a beautiful home, spent much time writing and studying, and earned a Masters Degree in Theological Studies from AGT Seminary in Springfield, MO.
   

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Bell Vossen; son, Peter David Bailey and granddaughter, Christina Adela Perez. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace (Bruch) Bailey; his children, Becki Spina of Eau Claire, Gretchen Perez of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Paul (Robin) Bailey of Ann Arbor, MI, and Sara (Derek) Cochran of Westland, MI; grandchildren, Jordan & Aaron Spina, Victor & Alexander Perez, Taylor & Peter Bailey, Jason Bailey, Connor Cochran; and great-grandson, Quincy Duvalsaint.
 
Funeral Services will take place at 11 am on Saturday May 22, 2010 at Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church, 123 W. Hamilton Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Friends may call at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701 on Friday evening from 5-7 pm and at the church Saturday morning from 10 am until the time of services.
