Dawn M. Bosold


		Dawn M. Bosold, 59, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dawn was born in Waterloo, WI on 7/30/50. She graduated from Waterloo High School and earned a Business Degree from UW-Madison. She lived in Eau Claire for 33 years. She was a CPA and worked at Chippewa Valley Technical College for 30 years - as Business Manager and more recently as Budget & Strategic Planning Director. Dawn was a member of AAUW serving the past year as co-president, active in the group's annual book sale and in their book club. She was also an active member of the Clear Water Quilters Guild. Dawn's passion was cooking and everyone who knew Dawn would look forward to her latest creation -- there was always a theme as she was organizing her menu. All of her extended family were willing sous chefs.


She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bob, sons, Michael, a Sgt. in the US Army serving in Afghanistan and Matthew, a student at UW-Madison. Her father Charles Michel, now of Eau Claire and her sister Sharon Michel, of Madison and Venice, Florida. She will also be missed by an aunt, cousins, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Harriet Michel. In lieu of flowers please send donations to: the AAUW Scholarship fund, Eau Claire branch, the Chippewa Valley Technical College Foundation, or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 4-8 PM at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Rd., Eau Claire, WI 54701 with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 22, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 322 Fulton St. Eau Claire, WI 54703. Fr. William Dhein will officiate.
