Robert "Bob" W. Gorton, age 86 of Eau Claire passed away Saturday morning January 16, 2010 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
Bob was born on May 30, 1923 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Howard and Gertrude (Herron) Gorton. He married Lila Govin on November 6, 1948 at St. Joseph's Church in
Menomonie, WI.

Bob was a member of Local Union 19 for more than 60 years, and he was part owner of Gorton Brother's Mason Contractors.
Bob is survived by his Wife Lila, Children, Charles (Kim), Jeff (Marie), James, Thomas, Teresa (Tim) Cross, Mary Ellen (Brian) Miller, Grandchildren, Joshua (Kristi) Gorton, Tara Gorton, Kristy (Simon) Perez, Emilee (Phil)
Koepf, Jason Gorton, Jennifer Gorton, Brett Gorton, Kyle Cross, Jacob Cross, Luke Miller, James Miller, and David Miller, Step Grandchildren, Melissa (Mark) Sandberg, and Cassidy Cross, Great-Grandchildren, Zachary Gorton, Hunter Perez, Ariah Perez, and Brayden Gorton, Sister, Patricia (Donald) Metcalf. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Kenneth. |

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday January 19, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1712 Highland Avenue, Eau Claire. Father Eugene Klink will officiate. Burial will take place immediately following the services in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may call at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home on Monday evening from 4-7 pm and at the church Tuesday afternoon an hour prior to services.
