Richard A. "Rick" Gunderzik, age 46, of
Eau Claire, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2010 at Hayward
Hospital. Richard was born on February 10, 1964 in Chippewa Falls,
the son of Jean and the late Robert Gunderzik. He married Angela
Peterson on August 23, 1986 at Christ Church Cathedral and later
divorced. He was employed by PDM Bridge for many years. He was
loved by all who knew him. He loved fishing, hunting, camping,
winter sports and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Richard is survived by his mother, Jean; daughter, Alicia Gunderzik (fiancé Derrick
Klund) of Appleton; son, Jacob (April) Gunderzik of Menomonie; step granddaughter, Leighla Hoyt; brother, Michael (Tamara) Gunderzik of Hudson; sister, Kay (David) Phillips of Appleton; significant other, Tammy
Solfest; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. |

Visitation will be Wednesday June 2 from 4-7 PM at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road Eau Claire, WI 54701 with a Prayer Service at 7 PM. Funeral Service will be Thursday June 3 at 11 AM at St Olaf Catholic Church, 3220 Monroe St. Eau Claire, WI 54703 with visitation 1/2 hour prior at church. Fr. Brian Konopa will officiate.
