Dorothy Ann (Kelly) Kaiser, 89, of Eau
Claire, died August 4, 2010 at the Clairemont Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center in Eau Claire.

Dorothy was born in Chippewa Falls, WI on June 8, 1921 to James and
Mary Ada Kelly. Dorothy graduated from McDonnell High School in 1939
and later went on to graduate from the Wisconsin State Teachers
College in Eau Claire in 1945. Her first teaching job was in a one
room schoolhouse in Bloomer, WI and she also taught 6th grade in New
London, WI.
Dorothy married the love of her life, Charles E. Kaiser, on October 14, 1950 at the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. Dorothy was a great teacher and a great mother who loved spending time with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her beautiful, infectious smile and her "famous" ham and cheese sandwiches. |

Survivors include sons, Charles (Marsha) Kaiser, Richard (Elaine) Kaiser, James (Linda) Kaiser; daughter, Jayne (Charlie) Plumer; grandson, Matt Kaiser; brother, James (Grace) Kelly; sisters, Patricia Papke, Ellen (Peter) Casey; sister-in-law, Florence Kaiser; and several nieces & nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
A Memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Chapel, 3209 Rudolph Rd, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Pastor Paul Pillman will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4PM-6 PM, prior to the service. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Eau Claire, WI. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to an organization of choice.
