Violet J. Knutson, age 85, of River Falls, WI died Friday July 23, 2010 surrounded by her family.

Violet was born on May 15, 1925 to John and Gena Christianson. Violet married Harry Knutson on September 1, 1945 in
Norden, WI. She will be sadly missed by her five children; Ronald (Sandi) Knutson, Donna (Ed) Schneider, Romaine (Diane) Knutson, Mary (John)
Longberg, Lois (Michael) Rumphol; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Leona Christianson, Eldora Christianson, Inga Christianson, and Lillian
Oium; and many nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents; great-granddaughter, Abigail; seven brothers, Tillman, Clarence, Melvin, Jay, Palmer, Morten and Glen; and three sisters, Mary, Hazel and Clara. |

Visitation will be Tuesday July 27 from 4-7 PM at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road Eau Claire, WI 54701. Funeral Service will be Wednesday July 28 at 11 AM at Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1500 Peterson Ave. Eau Claire WI, 54701 with visitation one hour prior at church. Pastor Paul Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be at Norden Cemetery in Eleva. Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
