Peg Market, 88, of Eau Claire, WI passed away of natural causes at Luther Midelfort Hospital on February 23, 2010.

Peg was born June 17, 1921 on the family farm in the Township of Peru, WI and was married to Juel Market (deceased) on June 20, 1942. They raised five children, Marv (Carol) Market of Fort Myers, Ron Market (deceased), Judy (Jim) Derouin of Scottsdale, Howie (Ann) Market and Dan (Debbie) Market. D'Aguanno, Lynsi (Rob) Freitag, Danny (Kerry) Market, Randi Jo (Bob) Collins, Heather (Patrick) Market-Sullivan and Heidi (Ryan)
Bullis. She is further survived by twelve great grandchildren, four loving sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. |

She was a homemaker and very involved with her family. She and Juel were charter members of Trinity Lutheran Church; Peg proudly served in an ALCW leadership position for many years. She assisted Juel in co-founding Market and Johnson, Inc. in 1948, where she is fondly referred to as the "First Lady of M & J." They enjoyed following the Eau Claire Cavaliers for many seasons. Peg and Juel wintered in Phoenix, Arizona for more than 25 years where Peg was active in church and community activities. In her later years, Peg mastered computers and enjoyed communicating with friends and family by email.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Blvd. Eau Claire, with the Rev. Heather Wigdahl officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road Eau Claire, WI 54701 and one hour before services Friday at the church.
