Harold C. Najacht, age 89 of Eau Claire, WI died on August 30, 2010 at Dove Healthcare West in Eau Claire, WI. Harold was born on September 17 1920 in Sheboygan, WI to Martin & Mabel
Najacht. He attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School, Sheboygan High School & the University of WI Extension all of Sheboygan, WI. He later became a licensed Sanitarian for the state of WI. As a younger man he was involved with the Sheboygan Community Players & the Mable Tainter Theatre in
Menomonie, WI. Harold served honorably in WWII & was stationed in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska earning a Certificate of Commendation. Harold will also be remembered as an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and camping. |

Harold is preceded in death by parents; sister, Clara; & brothers, Carl, Herbert & Martin. He is survived by wife of 19 years, Gertrude Lawrence; children, Charles (Norma) Najacht, Thomas (Kristine) Najacht, Zachary (Nicole) Najacht & Jane (John) Daw; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; Harold is further survived by Gertrude's children. Private Graveside Service will be 11AM Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Northern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner, WI with the Reverend Michael Anderson officiating services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Lake Street United Methodist Church 337 Lake Street Eau Claire, WI 54703 or the Salvation Army.
The family expresses a special thanks to the staff at Dove Healthcare for making his final days comfortable and to Dr. Obaid & his staff for all their wonderful care.
