   Robert G. Quella, age 83 of Eau Claire passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 9, 2010 peacefully at his home.
 
Robert, a lifelong resident of Eau Claire, was born to George and Alma Quella on July 10, 1926. He graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1943 and was drafted into the U.S. Army shortly after. He then married Betty Jane Benner on October 1, 1947. Robert was an extremely generous man who not only donated money, but donated much of his time to many organizations. He was very involved with M.A.P., working and volunteering at Lake Street United Methodist Church along with Temple Sholom. He kept active with his love for golf, dartball and pool leagues at the senior center & moose club. He especially loved spending time with his family at their homes and at the cottage along the Chippewa River.
 
Robert is preceded in death by parents, George & Alma Quella; wife, Betty Jane Quella; son-in-law, Julian Braden and brother-in-law, Bob Benner. He is survived by daughter, Sondra Braden; grandchildren, Christian (Jill) Braden, Marisa (Corey) Erickson and Carolyn (fiancé Tom) Braden; great-granddaughters, Abigail & Ava as well as many other loving family and friends.
 

 
Visitation, Sunday, 2-5pm at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home 3209 Rudolph Road Eau Claire WI with Moose Rites conducted by Eau Claire Moose Lodge #1408 at 4:30pm. Funeral Service 11am Monday, February 15, 2010 at Lake Street United Methodist Church 337 Lake Street Eau Claire, WI with visitation beginning at 10am until time of services. Interment will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Township of Washington, with American Legion Post #53 conducting Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Lake Street United Methodist Church. Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
