Julia Irene Quick, 97, of 2520 Botsford
Ave., Altoona, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010, at Luther
Hospital in Eau Claire.

Julia was born Sept. 9th, 1912, in Blabon, ND to
Alfred and Louise Evenson. She was raised in Aneta, ND until the
age of 17 when they moved to Eau Claire. Julie married Fredrick
Quick in 1935. She worked many jobs, but the longest was the 20
years she worked as a night cook with the Syverson Home until the
age of 72. She loved to sing and play the piano. But most of all,
she loved spending time with her family and great grand children.
She is survived by her son Dale(Bonnie), daughter Sharon Beckfield
all of Altoona; grandchildren John (Michelle) Beckfield of
Altoona, Paul Beckfield (Heidi Picard) of Eau Claire; Anne (Erin)
Quick-Laughlin of Appleton; Great grandchildren Samantha, Sydney,
& Shaylee Beckfield, Jacob Beckfield, Drake, Sophie, and
Simone Quick-Laughlin. |

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Ben and Jerry; Sisters Lou, Cora, Fannie, and Alice.
Funeral Services will be at 3 pm on Tuesday June 22, 2010 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 1915 Hogeboom Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Pastor Steve Rutter will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Eau Claire immediately following the service. Visitation will be at the church an hour prior to the service.
