   Alan Lyle Teske, age 87, of Eau Claire, formerly of Brookfield, WI and Haines City, FL died Tuesday January 12, 2010 at Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire. Alan was born on October 28, 1922 to Albert and Erna (Fehrmann) Teske in Milwaukee, WI. He attended Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, WI. On July 5, 1945 he married Sadie Rose Trasser. Alan worked for American Linen, Allis Chambers, Motor Castings and as a Commander US Navy, fighter pilot USS Boxer and Commander of USN HS721 Helicopter Squadron, Glenview, IL. 
 
His only disappointment is that he never finished college. His proudest accomplishment was having all his children attend and graduate from colleges. His hobbies included photography, movie making with family, music, Packers football, conservative politics, jogging, golfing, swimming, bible study and attending church. He was a Lutheran Church (ELCA) member all his life.
   

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Erna; son, Larry Teske; and brothers, Mike, Melvin and Ken Teske. He is survived by his wife, Sadie Rose Teske; children, Todd (Ellen) Teske and Toni Teske (Tom Jooss); grandchildren, Sarah (Dr. Mark) Hiesterman, Erin Jooss, Zak Teske, Jamison Teske, Jake Teske, David (Jess Johnson) Jooss, Ryley Teske, Joe Teske and Kathryn Teske; great-grandchild, Ella Jooss; and sister, Carla Herzog. 
 
Visitation will be Saturday January 16, 2010 from 2-4PM at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI 53226. Private entombment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee, WI. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Alan Teske will be made to a needy veteran's family.
