Rebecca A. Behn, 56, of Sergeant Bluff,
Iowa, died Thursday, November 10th, 2011 after a courageous battle
with cancer.

Becki was born October 24, 1955, in Chippewa Falls, WI, to Leon and
Arlene (Boettcher) Berg. She was a 1973 graduate of Bloomer HS and
received an Associate Degree in Fashion Merchandising at Eau Claire
Technical College in 1975.
She had been employed by K-Mart when she met and married her husband,
William Behn, on October 11, 1980 in Eau Claire, WI.
She and her husband lived in Devils Lake, ND; Ottumwa, IA; Dodge City,
KS; Evans, CO; and Sergeant Bluff, IA. Becki made long lasting friends
in every town she lived. She began every day with a positive outlook
that she shared with everyone she met. Becki loved traveling with her
husband, shopping, and taking care of her home and pets. She was a
terrific cook and enjoyed sharing evening dinner with her husband,
Bill. |

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Bill; brothers Curtis (Shari) Berg of Eau Claire, Gary (Vicki) Berg of Cameron, sisters; Tammie Berg of Eau Claire, Cindy (Stan) Hill of Fayetteville, GA, mother -in-law Ruby Behn, Reedsburg, WI, brothers-in-law; John (Darrelyn) Behn of Columbia, TN, Fred (Linda) Behn of Rock Springs, WI and 6 nieces and 3 nephews who she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Heights United Methodist Church, Eau Claire, WI with Pastor Cheryl A. Miskimen and Monsignor Edmund Klimek officiating. A light luncheon will be served following the service. Burial will take place at 2pm in the Tilden Emmanuel Cemetery near Tilden, WI.
Visitation will take place at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5 - 8 pm and at the church Tuesday morning an hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of Becki.
