Philip D. Blaisdell age 74, died Monday, February
28, 2011 at the Oakwood Villa in Altoona.
He was born in 1936 in Springfield, MA., to Charles and Orpha
(Hasting) Blaisdell. Philip graduated High School in Eau Claire in
1955 and married Shirley LaMuska in Oct. of 1956.
He worked maintenance his whole life, working at WEAU-TV, Heckels
, Benruds and installed Muzak at various locations. Philip was a
member of Grace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed Good Sam (camping) CB
Club, Genealogy and other various hobbies.
He is survived by his wife Shirley; children Julie (Don) Christ,
Terri Blaisdell Halverson, Rodney Blaisdell and Randy (Carla)
Blaisdell; grandchildren Aaron (Alison) Blaisdell, Jessica (Adam)
Feldman, Bryan and Kelli Blaisdell and great granddaughter Clara
Christ; a brother David (Jerri) and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Shawn Christ. |

Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will take place at 7 pm on Thursday March 3, 2011 at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home 3209 Rudolph Rd, Eau Claire, WI with Pastor David Irgens of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Memorial visitation will take place Thursday evening at the funeral home an hour prior to the service.
