Marie E. Curtis, age 92, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011, at Oakwood Villa, in Altoona, WI. She was a former resident of Mason City, Iowa.
Marie was born April 17, 1919 in Eau Claire to Clara and Rudolph Leland. In 1940, she married Wilbur (Dick) Curtis. She is survived by one son, Romaine (Sherry) of Carson City, Nevada; a grandson, Christopher of Taiwan; four great granddaughters and one great grandson.
Marie is preceded in death by her two daughters, Susan Marie and Jeanette; her husband; her parents; a grandson, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Visitation will take place at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54701 on Thursday September 29, 2011 from 2-3 pm. Committal services officiated by Monsignor Edmund Klimek will take place Thursday afternoon at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Eau Claire at 3:15 pm. Friends may offer condolences online at
