La June Rose Ginder, age 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Dove Healthcare in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
She was born in Eau Claire, WI on June 6, 1915 to Roy and Margaret (Webber) Felton. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1934. She and Harold Ginder were married on April 8, 1934 in Eau Claire.
La June was a faithful member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Eau Claire and active in the Ladies Aid Society for many, many years. She and Harold enjoyed their cabin on Amacoy Lake and traveling after his retirement from Uniroyal Tire Co. She always spoke so highly of her father, Roy Felton and what a wonderful job he did raising his girls alone. He was dearly loved. |

She will be dearly missed by her sons, Ronald (Jackie), of Eau Claire and Terrance (Sherry) of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Michelle Moltzau (fiancé, Ernie Johnson), of Strum, Duane (Jamie) Ginder, of Eau Claire, and Tim (Kelly) Ginder of Altoona, Paula Ginder of Burnsville, MN, Brenda (Greg) Rudrud, of Farmington, MN, Shelby (Ryan) Kuphal, of Minneapolis, MN and Miranda Ginder of Apple Valley, MN; great grandchildren, Ronnie, Jordan, Chelsie, Megan, Kenny, Tessa, Sammy, Zach, Emily, Jacob, Lindsay, Corey, Delaney, Quinn, Cameron; great-great grandchildren, Riley, Dreya, Jackson, and Landon; sisters, Virginia Johnson and Kathryn Ginder; sister-in-law, Phyllis Ginder; and many nieces and nephews.
We’ll all remember and miss her wonderful “bear hugs”! Rest in peace with your wonderful loved ones.
Per La June’s wishes, she asked to have no formal memorial or funeral service. A private, immediate family only, remembrance will be at the funeral home. The family does ask that you keep La June in your memories and especially your prayers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be forwarded onto the local Salvation Army in La June’s name.
