Ruth M. Hazen, 63 of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Dove Healthcare West in Eau Claire.

Ruth was born on September 18, 1947 in Fall Creek, WI to Elgart and Lydia (Sell)
Knuth. She married Vern Hazen on September 24, 1966. They've lived near Rock Falls, WI. Ruth had worked at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing, and also her beef cattle and other animals.
She is survived by her husband, Vern; her four sons, Scott V. (Melissa Greenwood), Sidney K. (Denise Smith), Sheldon E. (Michele
Enerson), and Shannon P.; her nine grandchildren, Christopher J., Michael S., Cody A., Matthew S., Jacob S., Jessie R., Randall S., Justin L. and Anna M.; two great-grandchildren, Kaylee M. and McKenzie M.; and two sisters, Leora (Dale) Zimmerman and Vera Baker. |

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Deloris Tumm and her brother, Kenneth Knuth.
Memorial services for Ruth will be on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Rock Creek Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Wollman from Shepard of the Hill Lutheran Church officiating.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 15 2011 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home (3209 Rudolph Rd., Eau Claire, WI 54701) and on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of services.
Burial will be in the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery.
