Delores I. Jochum, age 80 of Eau Claire passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday evening October 20, 2011 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. Funeral Service will be at 11 am on Wednesday October 26, 2011 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home. Monsignor Edmund Klimek will officiate. Entombment will take place immediately following the service in the Chapel of the Resurrection Mausoleum in the Calvary Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 4-7 pm with a prayer service taking place at 7 pm to conclude the evenings visitation. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning at the funeral home an hour prior to the service. |

Delores was born the daughter of the late Jess and Flora (Perkins) Newberry on July 28, 1931 in Mondovi, WI. Delores married Alton Jochum, the love of her life in 1948 and they spent 46 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death in 1994. Delores met Gene Keppers and he has been her companion for a number of years.
Delores loved her family very much, she was a homemaker, she loved her Dove dark chocolate candies, country music she always sent cards during birthday and holidays.
Survivors include her children; William (Annette), Robert, Marianna Rader, Steven (Kathy), Thomas (Catherine), Timothy (Mollie), Theresa Schultz, Sandra (Rob) Reinhold, Deborah (Mark) Seidling and Cynthia (Doug) Zurek. 24 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a sister Erma Punches.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Alton, son in law Rodney Rader; sisters and brothers Mildred, Daniel, Merle, LeRoy, Gladys, Evelyn, Leonard and Jess Jr.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sacred Heart CCU, Dr. Anton Kidess and Monsignor Edmund Klimek for their wonderful and loving care.

A butterfly lights beside us
