Sandra Kay Komro of Eau Claire passed away early Saturday morning,
October 1, 2011, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire at the
age of 67.
Funeral services will take place at 5 pm on Wednesday, October 5,
2011, at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau
Claire, WI 54701. Father George Szews will officiate. Visitation will
take place at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service on
Wednesday afternoon. Private family committal services will take place
at a later date at the Chapel of Resurrection Mausoleum at Calvary
Cemetery in Eau Claire.

Sandra was born April 27, 1944, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to Clifford
and Lillia (Johnson) Johnson. She graduated from Mondovi High School
in 1962. On July 7, 1973, she married Kenneth Komro at Our Redeemer
Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. She had degrees in Accounting and
Paralegal. She was employed at Uniroyal in Eau Claire for 27 years.
She also was employed at Allen Bradley and Erv Smith.
Sandra enjoyed playing computer games and dining out with family and
friends. She also enjoyed reading and traveling. She was a member of
the Newman Center in Eau Claire.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 38 years, Kenneth Komro of Eau Claire; mother, Lillia Olson; siblings Jan (John) Balow of Chippewa Falls; Carol (Joe) Sessions of Eleva; Elaine Ness of Alma; Larry (Claire) Olson of Plymouth, MN; and Sharon (Kevin) Malnory of Chippewa Falls; step-children Dan (Penny) Komro of Las Vegas, NV; Paul (Kim) Komro of Woodbury, MN; Lisa (David) Fleming of Floyd Knobs, IN; and many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Clifford Johnson and step-father Oscar Olson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Sandra's name to the St. Francis Food Pantry, 1221 Truax Blvd, Eau Claire, WI 54703. Friends may offer condolences online at www.fullerspeckienhulke.com.
