Ellen F. Larson of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the age of 89 at Dove HealthCare West in Eau Claire.
She was born in Medford, Mass. on November 19, 1921 to David and Grace
Philbrook.
Ellen is survived by her son John (Ann) Comeau, Ridgewood, New Jersey; brothers David
Philbrook, Cali. and Ernest Philbrook, Wis.; grandchildren Tammy (Tom)
Drinkman, Eau Claire, Kirk (Shilo) Knowles, Appleton, Debbie Knowles, Eau Claire, Heather (Vincent)
DiSerio, Ridgewood, New Jersey ; great grandchildren, Brandan and Tiffany Drinkman of Eau Claire, Grace

Preceding her in death are her husband Dennis Larson, her parents, a daughter Yvonne Comeau, a brother Eugene Philbrook and sisters Grace Gullickson and Tommie Johnson.
Her hobbies included spending time with her family, playing bingo, crafts, ceramics, needlepoint, camping and fishing and she loved to shop for anything.
Out of respect for Ellen's wishes, cremation will take place.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Rd., Eau Claire, WI 54701.
Pastor Rick Yoder will officiate.
Visitation will be from noon until time of services.
Inurnment of Ellen's remains will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.
