Ronald James Lewis, age 62 of Eau Claire went to be with the Lord surrounded by family at Sacred Heart Hospital Friday afternoon November 11, 2011.
A memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday November 16, 2011 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home from 5-7 pm. There will be no formal services.
Ronald was born on January 17, 1949 in Eau Claire, WI to Ralph G. and Evelyn P. (Pope) Lewis. He lived in Eau Claire until the day of his death. Ronald served in the U.S. Navy. He also did construction and cement work for many years. He loved to be outdoors doing many activities like riding bike around Eau Claire, looking for mushrooms in the woods that he could do art work on, and just watching nature go by. He loved to play pool and played on leagues with friends. |

He had two children Jeremy James Lewis and his child Charlie and Nikeshia Lynn Lewis and her children Kelsey, Preston , and Kristabel. He is survived by his two children and four grandchildren, three brothers; Philip (Marge) Lewis and David Lewis of Eau Claire, Steve (Sharon) Lewis of Arlington, TX, four sisters; Cheryl (Linus) Knudsen of Eau Claire, Sue Schmit of Wabasha, MN, Randi (Larry) Nelson of Elk Mound, Mary (John) Frase of Osseo, sister-in-law; Sherrie Lewis, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Michael, Paul, and William "Bill", brother-in-law; Allen Schmit and three nieces and two nephews.
