Frank was born in Avon, Massachusetts on June 4, 1929 to Fred A. and Mary I. (Talbot) McElroy. He married Hazel Irene Irons. He has been a loving caregiver to her for years during her fight with Alzheimer's and a stroke that left her paralyzed for the past 3.5 years. He has been a devoted husband, father and friend. Frank enjoyed woodworking and building furniture, painting, fishing and helping others. He ALWAYS put others before himself. Frank contributed to numerous charities through financial assistance and volunteering his talents and time. He was a man that was always a shoulder to cry on and a pillar of strength to lift you when you needed. Frank was involved in his community...and would make himself a friend to a stranger in passing. |
