Family and friends are grieving the
loss of Stephen G. Schild, age 84 of the Village of Lake Hallie
who passed away Friday March 4, 2011 at Sacred Heart Hospital in
Eau Claire.

Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Monday March
14, 2011 at Grace Baptist Church, 11591 17th Avenue, Chippewa
Falls, WI 54729 followed by a luncheon. Rev. Brian Jahn with
Spiritual Care Ministry at Luther Midelfort in Eau Claire will
officiate. Friends may visit at the church an hour prior to the
service on Monday morning. Burial will be at a later date in the
Prairie View Cemetery.
Steve was born April 19, 1926 to George and Hester (Kochenderfer)
Schild. He will be remembered for his quick wit, lyrical prose and love of music. His passions were traveling, gardening,, fixing things and singing. He was a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, Nascar racing and especially the Green Bay Packers winning the Super Bowl this year. |

Steve is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edith (Frenchie) Schild, his son, Greg (Marti) Schild, daughters Char (Georgia) Stevens, Sandra (Tim) Mudek, and Laurie (Rick) Banton as well as 8 grandchildren and more than a dozen great grandchildren.
