Marion E. Schlewitz, age 81, of Eau
Claire, passed away early Monday morning, August 29, 2011 at The
Clairemont Nursing Home in Eau Claire.

Marion was born January 6, 1930 to Mikal P. and
Gunda J. (Murvold) Rindal. She attended Eau Claire Schools through
the 12th grade graduating in 1947. She worked at Sacred Heart
Hospital for nine years and helped her husband for ten years in
his business. She also spent time employed at Buffington Home for
16 years. On August 17, 1957, she married Lloyd Schlewitz. Lloyd
passed away on December 21, 2004.
Marion is survived by two sons, Harry (Laura) McCoy and Gary (Becky)
Schlewitz, six grandchildren, Nicole, Chance and Ashley McCoy, Jennifer and Jacob Schlewitz all of Eau Claire, Ben McCoy of Withee
Wi. One great grandchild, three sisters, Agnes(George) Mika, Lorraine (Harry) Shay, and Signe (Lloyd) Champion, several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives. |

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1310 Main Street, Eau Claire, WI, 54701. Pastor Gary Sahs will officiate. Burial will take place immediately following the service in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will take place on Wednesday evening from 4-7 pm at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Rd., Eau Claire, WI 54701 and at the church on Thursday morning from 9:30 am until the time of services.
Friends may offer condolences online at www.fullerspeckienhulke.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Marion's name to St. Joseph's Hospice, 2661 County Highway I, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
