Lois Ann Shaw passed away peacefully at Dove Healthcare West on September 7, 2011.

Lois was born November 14, 1927 in Rice Lake, WI, daughter of Edwin and Ellen
(Amundson) Nelson. She grew up in Dallas, WI and graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1945. Lois married James William Shaw on June 27, 1947 in Eau Claire. She retired in 1990 from Luther Hospital-Central Stores after 24 years. Lois was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
She is survived by: her daughter, Jane Stabenow of Eau Claire, son, Steven (Helen) Shaw of Cedar Grove; grandchildren, Steve (Vicki)
Stabenow, Kevin (Mary) Stabenow, Karen (Dan) Rodriguez, all of Eau Claire, Kari Shaw of Green Bay, James Shaw of Hudson; 9 great grandchildren, Andrea Cook, Cody Cook, Gavin
Stabenow, Kassandra Stabenow, Lindsay Wangen, Brayden Stabenow, Ethan Shaw, Connor Vijayapal and Hillary
Vijayapal; and sister, Dorothy Nelson of Las Vegas, New Mexico. |

Lois is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and 2 infant grandsons.
The family wishes to thank Mayo Health Systems-Eau Claire 4th floor and Dove Healthcare West.
Private family services will take place at a later date. Pastor Randy Olson of Hope Lutheran Church will officiate. Friends may gather at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701 on Sunday September 11, 2011 from 3-5 pm. Please enter and exit the funeral home parking lot by using the north entry on South Street to avoid the construction. Inurnment will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington at a later date. Friends may offer condolences online at www.fullerspeckienhulke.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Lois' name to Hope Lutheran Church, 2226 Eddy Lane, Eau Claire, WI 54703.
