Matthew Phillip Sisko of Mount Horeb, WI passed away on November 2, 2011. He was 32 years old.

Matt was born at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. He was the son of Paul and Janice
(Leskinen) Sisko. Matt graduated from Altoona High School and later from University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Matt and Loni (Clay), high school sweethearts, were married on September 25, 2004 after 7 years of dating. In 2009 they welcomed the birth of their first son, Carter Matthew. Their second son, Mason Paul was born 19 months later.
Matt worked as an electrical engineer for the past 9 years for EMC in Fennimore, WI and most recently for Affiliated Engineers, Inc. of Madison, WI. From a young age he enjoyed participating in sports, especially hockey and football. He enjoyed following collegiate and professional football, chiefly Wisconsin based teams. Matt had a love of music. |

He was a self taught guitar player and attended concerts frequently. Matt’s focus has always been on his family. He was a loving son, husband and father and devoted his time and energy to their happiness.
He is survived by his wife Loni and two sons, Carter and Mason; mother, Janice (Leskinen) Sisko of Altoona, WI; grandmother, Florence Babula of Eau Claire, WI; siblings, Troy (Lisa) Sisko of St. Paul, MN, Michael (Natasha) Sisko of Lake Tahoe, NV; nieces, Olivia and Avery Sisko of St. Paul, MN; godfather, Brad (Theresa) Leskinen of Pewaukee, WI; godmother Vicky (Ken) Schaefer of Fall Creek, WI; In-laws Tim and Susan Frederick of Fall Creek, WI, Andy and Mary Clay of Chippewa Falls, WI; Brother-in-law Alex Clay of Eau Claire, WI, Holly (Doug) McElhatton, Nathan Lange, Kyle (Ashley Schick) Frederick of Elk Mound, WI, Kirsten Frederick of Elk Mound, WI; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that were important in his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Sisko of Altoona, WI; grandparents Edwin and Nettie Leskinen of Eau Claire, WI; grandfather Michael Babula of Eau Claire, WI; uncle Gery Sisko of Hawkins, WI; aunt Sonja and cousin Sara Krumenauer of Eau Claire, WI.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1812 Lynn Ave., Altoona. The family will greet visitors from 4 - 8 pm on Tuesday, November 8th with a prayer service offered at 7 pm at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Rd., Eau Claire, WI 57401 and at the church one hour prior to service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to Charter Bank (1010 W. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54701) for the children in the name of Matthew Sisko.
