Orleen A. Smith, age 91 of Eau Claire went home to be with her Lord on Sunday January 9, 2011.
Funeral Services will take place at 11 am on Friday January 14, 2011 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701. The Rev. Nelson Clair will officiate. Committal services will take place at 3:15 pm Friday afternoon in the Wayside Cemetery near Barron, WI. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 am until the time of services.
Orleen was born April 9, 1919 in Barron, WI the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth
Folz. On August 25, 1937, Orleen married Lloyd K. Smith. They were married for 71 years. Orleen and Lloyd enjoyed wintering in Florida for 33 years. |

She is survived by two daughters, Corriene (the Rev. Nelson) Clair of Kenosha and Kathy A. Hahn of Eau Claire, six grandchildren, The Rev. Barry (Rosemarie) Clair, Brent Clair, Bradley (Shannon) Clair, Brenda (Scott) St. Pierre, Jeffrey (Carol) Giedd, and Stefanie (Christopher) Thompson, and 13 great grandchildren. Orleen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lloyd, who passed away on May 3, 2009.
Orleen was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. The family wishes to thank the Nurses, CNA's and everyone else who assisted mom for the past 2 1/2 years at the Syverson Lutheran Home.
