Kathryn J. Stucky, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband of 50 years at her side.
Kay was born June 10, 1925 in Eau Claire to Norman and Myrta
Hillestad. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High in 1942 and attended Eau Claire Teachers college from 1942 to 1944.
In 1946 she married Aaron E. Mickelson. He died in 1958.
In 1961 she married L. Joe Stucky.
She is survived by her husband Joe, daughter Linda Mickelson Seim (Richard) of Bedford, Texas, son Steve Mickelson (Cindy) of Fall Creek, WI and daughter Pamela Jo Stucky LaGuardia (Jay) of Eau Claire. |

Kay and Joe have eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Kay worked at Storrs Photography, switchboard at Eau Claire Motel, Martin Motors in Eau Claire and Westinghouse Electric in Madison, WI and while a widow, she worked at Grace Lutheran Church.
She was business manager at Stucky Chiropractic Center from 1970 until her retirement in 1995.
Kay will be greatly missed by her family whom she spoiled with her "super organization" skills.
It was her wish that anyone who is inclined to remember her in some way is invited to do something nice for someone who is living.
According to Kathryn's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service is planned for a later date.
