Martin (Marty) J. Zoglmann, 80, of Eau Claire, WI, died Thursday, April 7th, 2011. Marty was born in Shawano, WI on September 30th, 1930 and was the son of the late Martin Zoglmann and Alice (McArthur)
Zoglmann. Marty graduated from Shawano High School in 1948 where he was proud of being the Captain of the Shawano High School football team.

During the Korean War, Marty enlisted in the United States Navy where he honorably served his country from 1948 to 1951. Marty returned to Shawano where he married Emily (Shelley) and raised their five daughters before moving to Eau Claire in 1971.
Marty worked in the paper industry in Shawano, Eau Claire and Merrill. Marty was an avid sportsman who enjoyed duck hunting, deer hunting and trout fishing.
He is survived by his five daughters, Terri (Phil) Egner of Del Rio, Tennessee, Julie (David) Feivor of Gillett, Wisconsin, Jayne (Greg) Hayden of Elk Mound, Wisconsin, Jill (John) Walterman of Waukesha, Wisconsin and Patti (Mick) McLaughlin of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; 8 grandchildren; Tony, Brianna and Chase
Feivor, Gabriel Hayden, Heidi (Hayden) Davis, Shayne, Aarin and Tye McLaughlin and a great-grandson, Cole Davis. |

He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Alice (McArthur) Zoglmann, a sister June Winter and a granddaughter, Kim Loomis-Davis.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm, Monday, April 11, 2011, at the Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701. A private Inurnment and Committal with Military Rites will
be held on Father's Day in the Spring Brook Cemetery in Dunn County.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, Attn: The Family of Martin Zoglmann. Memorials will be distributed to a local Veteran's organization. Dad will always be remembered for his mantra "Slow and Easy Wins the War".
