Do you currently have funeral trusts or prearrangements at another funeral home? Would you like to transfer them? You can, and we can assist you. According to
Wisconsin Statute 445.125 Funeral Trusts are transferable. Funeral trust transferring is something that can very easily be done with as little as your signature. The funds that you have invested in a funeral trust are still yours and are to be used to cover the expenses of your funeral and you have every right to designate a different, beneficiary funeral home. The bank account, insurance policy or other trust vehicle needs to be changed to reflect the new, beneficiary funeral home but everything else can remain the same without creating any interest penalties.
