George I. Brazeau, 69, of 18941 State Hwy. 124, Bloomer, died Monday, December 10, 2007 at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire.
He was born December 22, 1937 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Eugene J. and Isabelle (Schafer)
Brazeau.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. |
He married Carole Bischel on March 12, 1960 at Notre Dame Church, Chippewa Falls.
He enjoyed woodworking.
He was a member of Holy Ghost Church, North American Hunter, Muskies Inc., American Legion Post #77 and the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.
He is survived by: his wife, Carole; one son, Mark (Leona) of Chippewa Falls; one daughter, Mary Kay (Jon) Zecherle of Humbird; four brothers, Sam (Dorothy) of Texas, Leo, Max (Donna) and Dan (Karen) all of Chippewa Falls; three sisters, Edith (Ray) Parr of Beloit, Laurice (Maurice) Moss of Omaha, Neb. and Dianne (Jack) Bischel of Wisconsin Dells; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday, December 14, 2007 at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. Rev. Edmund Doerre of Holy Ghost Church, Chippewa Falls will be officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls at a later date. Military rites will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday, December 14 at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls.
