Elaine M. LeMay, 86, of 4049 County Hwy K,
Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Sunday, December 30,
2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls.
She was born January 1, 1921 in the town of Anson, the
daughter of Phillip and Louise (Scheidler) Mattot.
She married Clifford B. LeMay, Sr. on October 7, 1950 at St.
Anthony’s Church in Drywood.
She was an elementary school teacher in Maywood, IL, Boyd and
Drywood.
She was a member of Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls.
She is survived by: two sons, Clifford B. Jr. (Diana) of
Orland Park, IL and John (Rita) of Cadott; one brother, Gene
Matott of Chippewa Falls; two sisters, Susan Huettner of
Cadott and Bernadette “Dolly” Raatz of Cornell; and three
grandchildren, Megan, Mathew and Mark LeMay.
She was preceded in by: her husband, Clifford; her parents; two brothers, Phillip “Buster” and Andrew
Matott; and two sisters, Patricia Sarazen, and Mary Matott.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Holy Ghost Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. Edmund Doerre will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Entombment will be in Hope Mausoleum, Chippewa Falls. |
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. There will be a Christian Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
