Anna M. Adrian, 77, of 559 W. Vine St., Chippewa Falls, died suddenly Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls.
She was born December 3, 1931 in the town of Tilden, the daughter of Joseph and Mabel (Zenner) Baier.
Anna married Leonard “Lennie” Adrian May 25, 1950 at St. Peter’s Church in Tilden.
She had worked at the Rutledge Home as a housekeeper for many years. She had served as a volunteer at the Senior Center and was a member of Holy Ghost Church.
She enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers play and playing cards with friends.
Anna is survived by: four sons, Brad (Roberta) of Gordon, Dave (Shari) of Stoughton, Chuck (Josephine) of Altoona and Lee (Tricia) of Chippewa Falls; three daughters, Roxy (Tim) Polus of Fall Creek, Shari (Don) Steinmetz of Menomonie and Annette (Larry) Reed of Chesterville, ME; five brothers, Lionel (Lois), Norman (Darlene), and Gordon (Dorothy) all of Bloomer, Joseph Jr. of Chippewa Falls and Thomas (Diane) of Jim Falls; two sisters, Dolores Cooney of Chippewa Falls and Carol (Kenneth) Geissler of Hebo, OR; 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Leonard on November 15, 2003; her parents; and two brothers, Gerald and John Baier.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 5, and until the time of services Saturday at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls.
